It's official: Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Jonathan Taylor is one of the fastest RB's in the league. Per Madden 21's player ratings, his raw speed and talent earned him a 93 speed rating, which ranks fourth in the entire league.

Only three players were ranked by EA Sports to be faster than the 21-year-old Colts newcomer. Philip Lindsay of the Denver Broncos was also tagged with a 93 speed rating, while Matt Breida of the Miami Dolphins and Raheem Mostert of the San Franciso 49ers were both tied at 95.

That's one elite RB class to be a part of if you're a young kid like Taylor.

It's no surprise that Jonathan Taylor is one of the more exciting rookies to enter the league this season. He had an outstanding collegiate career for Wisconsin and raked up quite the awards in his three years in the Badgers' football program. The new Colts star is a two-time Doak Walker Awardee, a two-time unanimous first-team All-American and a two-time Big Ten Running Back of the Year.

Though Taylor only managed to get an overall rating of 73, his speed rating definitely stands out. The rookie should be able to use it as a stepping stone for a successful first year with the Colts. His overall Madden 21 rating also has him tied with Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers at No.4 for the highest-rated rookie running backs coming into the 2020 NFL season.

With the Colts looking to rely on Taylor, he is expected to further improve his overall ratings. Madden 21 is set to be released on Aug. 25, 2020.
