Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had a big game on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that's resulted in a random drug test from the NFL. Surprise, surprise.

“Drug test right on time 😂🤣,” Taylor wrote on X Monday morning.

Because of his standout performance, the league made him take a drug test following the win and Taylor poked fun at the matter. This has become a common occurrence in the NFL when players show out in a game.

Taylor rushed for 6.1 yards per carry for 91 yards in total in Week 12 including two crucial scores. He single-handedly made the difference for Indy, who moved to 6-5 in the process. That's now three wins in a row for the Colts, who lost quarterback Anthony Richardson to a season-ending injury in early October.

When it comes to Jonathan Taylor, he's proving why he's one of the best backs around. The former Wisconsin standout has rushed for 4.1 yards per carry and four touchdowns in seven games (five starts) since returning from injury and figuring out his future with the franchise.

As for the drug tests, he also had one in late October when he rushed for 75 yards on 18 carries. You can see a theme here. While Taylor's numbers aren't as big as his 2021 campaign, the 24-year-old is still contributing at a high level and has another solid RB alongside him in Zack Moss.

The Colts will be looking to make it four wins in four when they clash with the Tennessee Titans in Week 13. We'll see if Jonathan Taylor is forced to take another drug test.
