The Indianapolis Colts are 2-2 on the year, and have a Week 5 matchup with the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. They can use Marlon Mack.

That game is set for Sunday Night Football, and is one that Indianapolis will want to have all hands on deck for. Of course, that includes having their starting running back.

The good news for them is that Marlon Mack is indeed active.

Heading into Week 5, Mack has 338 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 72 carries (4.7 yards per carry). Meanwhile, he has four receptions for 28 yards.

Mack has been one of the most important players on the Colts this season. His great running ability has kept a lot of pressure off quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Mack's definitely been one of the MVPs in a 2-2 season that might be surprising to some. After Andrew Luck's shock retirement, many people wrote off the Colts. The thought was that without Luck this team would crumble and fall back into being one fo the worst teams in the NFL.

However, a 2-2 start puts them in a spot to still be able to surprise a lot of people with a winning season. They've looked really good at times this year, but pretty miserable at other times. So an identity is something they still seem to be searching for.

Week 5 could be a major statement game for Indianapolis. If they manage to find a way to win against the 4-0 Chiefs, they'll put the entire NFL on notice.

However to do that, Indianapolis will need to put together a complete game. That includes a big day on the ground. Now that they have Mack, that's definitely a possibility.
