The Indianapolis Colts have no chance to make the playoffs with two weeks remaining, but that won't stop hobbled wide receiver T.Y. Hilton from trying to stay on the field.

Colts head coach Frank Reich says that Hilton, who played in just his second game since Week 9 due to a calf injury on Monday night, made it through the loss to the New Orleans Saints “well” from a health standpoint and that he will see some more playing time over the final couple of games of the season, according to George Bremer of CNHI Sports.

Hilton logged four catches for 25 yards against the Saints.

In the eight games he has played this season, Hilton has tallied 39 grabs for 403 yards and five touchdowns.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Florida International, was originally selected by Indianapolis in the third round (92nd pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

He played in 15 games during his rookie campaign and was impressive, catching 50 passes for 861 yards and seven scores. Hilton then began a stretch of four straight 1,000-yard seasons, with his best year coming in 2016 when he hauled in 91 receptions for 1,448 yards while reaching the end zone six times.

Hilton has also made four Pro Bowl appearances, with his last trip coming in 2017 when he snared 57 balls for 966 yards and four touchdowns.

The Colts got off to a strong 5-2 start this season, but a myriad of injuries on the offensive side of the ball derailed them from that point moving forward.

Indy now stands at 6-8 as it enters its Week 16 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
