Conor McGregor loves to make any big event all about himself. That was the case for UFC 269 when Dustin Poirier challenged the champion, Charles Oliveira, for the lightweight title.

The main event was a very exciting one as the two delivered nonstop action for three rounds. The first round saw both men forget what defense was at UFC 269 and deliver an epic stand-up war.

Charles Oliveira cemented himself as the undisputed UFC lightweight champion. He locked up a huge standing rear-naked-choke submission over Dustin Poirier in the third round.

Conor McGregor made sure to take some shots at Dustin Poirier after UFC 269. It's safe to say the beef between the two will never truly die.

The Irishman made it clear on Twitter who he wanted to fight next. None other than the champion Charles Oliveira.

Conor McGregor still sees himself as the undisputed UFC champion in the lightweight division, despite winning the championship five years ago. He hasn't been the champion for years and lost when he challenged Khabib Nurmagomedov back in 2018.

The UFC will no doubt want to book Conor McGregor in a title fight in the near future but that doesn't seem possible right now with the way things stand.

The Irishman clearly wants the challenge of Charles Oliveria next and believes he can be the man to dethrone the Brazilian UFC champion. The reaction on Twitter to the tweet was not a very positive one as many believe he is very far away from fighting for the title.
