Just when the boxing world thought that they had seen the last of the Paul brothers, Conor McGregor decides to open the door to a potential fight. McGregor recently sat down to do an interview for his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirer in UFC 257 but was asked about a potential fight against popular YouTuber, Jake Paul.

McGregor never shut the idea down, and actually sounded pretty open to fighting Paul once his fight with Jordan Poirier is over. McGregor responded with ‘whatever happens, happens'.

Conor McGregor is still the king of trash talk and needed to throw in an insult before moving on to the next topic of discussion by calling Jake Paul a “confused little kid,” per TMZ Sports.

After Jake Paul's stunt on Instagram where he called out McGregor and insulted his wife, the world has been asking for the MMA star to speak up and put Paul back in his place as a YouTuber.

McGregor, however, kept his focus on his fight with Poirier and hasn't really addressed Paul's comments.

The fight against Jake Paul would put millions of dollars in each of these guys' pockets, and McGregor is known for accepting fights if a boat-load of money is involved.

The money-hungry Irishman is no stranger to the boxing ring and would most likely pummel Jake Paul. But nothing is certain in the sport.

If for whatever reason McGregor isn't able to win that fight, his reputation will be tarnished forever. That's something that goes beyond any money in the world.
