Both Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were slated to attend a promotional press conference in Dublin, Ireland later today for their fight, but the UFC announced early this morning that the presser would be postponed. They did not provide a reason for the postponement.

Dana White did not mention anything about the press conference during his usual UFC 302 post-fight presser and he didn't acknowledge a reason for the postponement today. We're still unclear whether it was a logistical issue, or whether one of the two fighters couldn't make it to the event later in the day.

As first reported by ESPN's Brett Okamoto, Dana White was slated to attend the event in Dublin for what McGregor has labeled “the greatest comeback in sport's history” following his leg break against Poirier. The event was free for fans to attends but clearly, they'll have to wait until a later date to see their hero McGregor.

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are slated to face each other at UFC 303 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in what could be the most-viewed UFC Pay-Per-View of all time. Dana White recently noted that the gate sales for UFC 303 have already surpassed the $20 million mark, which would make it the highest-selling PPV event of all time for the promotion.

It'll also be interesting to see what shape both fighters are in after taking such an extended break from the sport in both of their camps. Both fighters are coming in off a loss to Dustin Poirier and with the recent talks of Poirier retiring, the winner of this fight could be next-in-line for a title challenge in the Lightweight Division.
