Dak Prescott will not have his favorite target for the rest of the Dallas Cowboys' game against the New York Jets. Wide receiver Amari Cooper has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game with a quadriceps injury, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

Cooper was slow to get up after making a 3-yard reception in the Cowboys' first series. Shortly after, he was seen on the sideline riding a stationary bike before heading into the locker room, and ultimately being out for the rest of the game.

As the Cowboys' No. 1 option in the passing game, Cooper's absence isn't welcome for Prescott and the offense. That only gets truer considering that slot receiver Randall Cobb was ruled out for the game. Considering both tackles Tyron Smith (left) and La'el Collins (right), didn't play, Prescott is dealing with his fair share of hindrances on Sunday.

With Cooper and Cobb out, Prescott will be passing to Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin, Cedrick Wilson and Ventell Smith for the rest of the Jets game. Luckily, tight ends Jason Witten, Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz are healthy and active for Sunday's bout.

After the first series of the second half, Prescott has 163 yards, no touchdowns and no touchdowns on 15 of 23 passing. Without his top-two wide receivers, the Cowboys offense has faltered, scoring just three field goals to the Jets' three touchdowns. Dallas better wish they get Ezekiel Elliot going, or they may be staring down the barrel of a 3-3 record.
