It looks as though the Ezekiel Elliot contract holdout will continue. It appears the Dallas Cowboys are offering Zeke for less than he's worth.

The Cowboys have a lot of mouths to feed during in-house free-agency, and it appears that Elliott is not a priority.  Elliott has easily been one of the best running backs in the league since he entered the NFL in 2016. He's led the league in rushing twice, and the Dallas offense has run through him for three years. But instead of being paid as the top dog, the Cowboys are offering a similar contract to Le'Veon Bell's, who didn't play a single snap last year. It's no wonder that Zeke hasn't reported to training camp.

While it seems like the Cowboys are being unfair, they are in quite the contract dilemma. Starting quarterback Dak Prescott and number one receiver Amari Cooper are both due for extensions. This looks like a nearly impossible situation, as Dallas doesn't have enough money to satisfy all three. Prescott takes priority as the quarterback, and based off of Jerry Jones' recent comments; Cooper ranks higher on the totem pole than Elliott. Cooper was the reason for a mid-season turnaround last year, as he completely revolutionized the offense.

The Jones family is put between a rock and a hard place here. All three of these players are crucial to the team's success, but it looks as if only two can stay. If that's the case, be prepared to see Ezekiel Elliott in a different uniform soon.
