The Dallas Cowboys are well into the offseason following their Wild Card Weekend loss to the San Francisco 49ers. There are a lot of moving pieces within the franchise, especially for defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Despite multiple opportunities from different teams throughout the league, Quinn is staying with the Cowboys.

NFL reporter Tom Pelissero tweeted the news Thursday morning.

Pelissero noted that six teams requested to hold head-coaching interviews with the Cowboys DC. This includes the Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, and Chicago Bears. Despite the opportunities, Quinn is riding it out with the Cowboys for at least another year.

Quinn just finished his first season with the Cowboys. He began his NFL career as the defensive quality control coach for the 49ers in 2001. Since then, he has coached for six different teams in the league. Most notably, Quinn was the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks when they won Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.

While Quinn has decided to stick with his defensive coordinator job in Dallas, head coach vacancies are filling up fast. The Denver Broncos made the first move and hired Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. The Bears then hired Matt Eberflus, former Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator, as their head coach.
