Most of the Dallas Cowboys could not care less about Doug Pederson's “guarantee” that the Philadelphia Eagles will win on Sunday. However, that doesn't mean all haven't taken his claims on a personal level. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence fired back at the coach on Friday:

Tell him to come on,” Tank said Friday from the locker room at The Star, per Mike Fisher of Sports Illustrated. “We're ready. Can he play the game? He might want to shut his ass up and stay on the sidelines. He can’t play the game for them… We’ll see.”

Both the Cowboys and Eagles sit at 3-3 heading into their Sunday night matchup that will give one of them the lead in the NFC East, barring a tie. It appears that both teams are fired up for the divisional tilt. The Cowboys don't like the Eagles. The Eagles don't like the Cowboys.

This all started when Pederson made his bold prediction earlier in the week:

We're going down to Dallas and our guys are going to be ready to play,” Pederson said early in the week on Philadephia radio station WIP. “And we're going to win that football game, and when we do, we're in first place in the NFC East.”

Though Pederson retracted his statement and proclaimed he never “guaranteed” a win on Sunday, the comments are already out there. The Cowboys, or at least Lawrence, is fired up. The Eagles need to defend Pederson, who has lost to the Cowboys four times and has won twice.

Get your popcorn ready.
