Ezekiel Elliott played his part for the Dallas Cowboys as they took down Washington Football Team on Week 14, 27-20. The 26-year-old has been playing through an injury on his knee and he hasn't really been at full strength over the past few weeks.
According to Elliott, however, he's making considerable progress in his recovery and that at this point, it won't be long before the Cowboys running back returns to 100 percent health:
“That’s definitely the best I’ve felt in a while. I’m starting to heal up,” Elliott said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “Last week I wore a knee brace and it helped a lot, giving me some stability. I definitely felt more comfortable.”

Article Continues BelowLast week, Elliott revealed that he had an MRI on his knee that showed that its condition had improved. Nevertheless, it was also stated that he will need three to four weeks to fully recover. This recent update appears to fall in line with that previous assessment.
On Sunday night, Elliott rushed 12 times against Washington for 45 yards. He also collected 1-of-6 targets for an additional 15 yards as he helped the Cowboys secure back-to-back wins. Dallas returns to action on Sunday to match up against the New York Giants and we fully expect Elliott to take part in that contest.
