Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons considers the Philadelphia Eagles the NFL's best team this season. He shared his sentiments on “The Edge With Micah Parsons” podcast on Tuesday, per Bleacher Report.

“No. 1 would have to be the Philadelphia Eagles. No one has stopped the tush push yet. DeVonta Smith could be AJ Brown's No. 1 receiver. Jason Kelce: Hall of Famer. Lane Johnson will be a Hall of Famer. They're very special,” Micah Parsons said.

“Their DB core: Darius Slay, crazy talent. James Bradberry. And I know you saw the trade, they just got Kevin Byard. Very special to see. Obviously, I know I was highlighting Jalen Carter before he even got to Philly. I don't know how he fell to them. Without a doubt, very special group. It's very special to see what they've done, and they still have Reddick. They still have Sweat. I don't believe they have any weaknesses,” Parsons concluded.

The Eagles' and the Kansas City Chiefs' identical 6-1 win-loss records are the best in the NFL. It seems the two protagonists in Super Bowl LVII are on another collision course next postseason. The San Francisco 49ers (5-2) and Buffalo Bills (4-3) are two of the contenders who have been struggling lately. The 49ers' Brock Purdy hasn't shown flashes of Joe Montana in the past two weeks.

The surprising Detroit Lions also lost in lopsided fashion to the Baltimore Ravens. Clearly, the Eagles and Chiefs are the NFL's two best teams entering Week 8.

As for Micah Parsons' Cowboys (4-2), they're coming off their bye week. Their roller-coaster season continues against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8. Expect the Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks to give the Eagles and 49ers stiff competition in the NFC moving forward.
