The Dallas Cowboys are doing everything they can in order to return to the Super Bowl. However, Terrell Owens thinks the team can do better if they instead pick a quarterback who can actually win football games in Tom Brady.

Yes, the former wide receiver for the Cowboys during the late 2000's suggested that having a man like Brady in Dallas' pocket will do more good than harm for a franchise that is already struggling to get themselves on the trail for a Super Bowl title.

Blake Schuster of Bleacher Report reported Owens' suggestion to team owner Jerry Jones. The man gives an interesting argument that will get Cowboys fans thinking:

“They have a quarterback that's a free agent in Tom Brady,” Owens told the Joe, Lo & Dibs show on 95.7 The Game. “That's the next move.”

He then argued that the Cowboys haven't signed an extension for their quarterback, Dak Prescott, so making the move is not a bad idea. Moreover, Jerry Jones' sudden hiring of Mike McCarthy is a sign that he is more open to change.

“He hasn't extended Dak's contract,” Owens said of Jones. “So, that leads me to believe he truly doesn't believe in Dak. If he had, then I think he would have already got a contract extension.”

Brady had a great finish to the regular season with 4,057 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. However, he was very inefficient on a lot of games. In fact, the Patriots' wild card loss to the Tennessee Titans can be attributed to his lack of effectiveness from the pocket.

It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys do decide to part ways with their current pass-caller. If they do decide to switch it up, Brady will be a heavy favorite.
