Yards are not easy to come by in Foxborough. They are harder to get against a No. 1 ranked New England Patriots defense. Add poor, rainy conditions to the mix, and they are nearly impossible. Luckily, in their Week 12 tilt with the Patriots, the Dallas Cowboys found a method to move the chains.

Pass the ball. Find Randall Cobb.

Watch below. Dak Prescott connects on a 59-yard toss to Cobb.

The Cowboys essentially ran a man beater. Prescott figured out the coverage was man-to-man by motioning a wide receiver across the line of scrimmage. With a cornerback following, he knew it was man. Crossers, which the Cowboys ran, typically shred man, which they did. It left Cobb open.

While the play call was good, the toss was better. Prescott dropped it in where so few quarterbacks can, as it lofted over the head of a defender. Unfortunately, the result of the big play was a field goal, as the offense sputtered in the red zone.
