The Dallas Cowboys won their first game of the 2020 NFL regular season after mounting an incredible comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons at their home opener at AT&T Stadium.

The Cowboys recovered an improbable onside kick with fewer than two minutes remaining in the game, marched down the field, and converted on a 46-yard field goal to seal the victory, their first on the young season.

The Cowboys were down 20 points to the Falcons in the first quarter and down 19 in the second quarter. Dak Prescott and the gutsy Cowboys pulled off the first win in the Mike McCarthy era—and boy was it a wild one for the new Dallas head coach.

New kicker Greg Zuerlein—who played for the Los Angeles Rams until this year—deliver for the Cowboys at two absolutely crucial moments. First, Zuerlein placed a perfect onside kick that America's Team recovered after the Cowboys scored on a nine-play drive ended by a Prescott rushing touchdown.

After recovering, Prescott and the Cowboys marched down the field with the help of rookie receiver CeeDee Lamb. Zuerlein sealed the win with a 46-yarder with sparse fans allowed in attendance at AT&T Stadium.
