Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is now a member of the Dallas Cowboys after inking a contract with the team in April. That doesn’t mean the former Chicago Bears safety has had his last run-in with the team’s namesake, as this video suggests:

That’s right, Clinton-Dix actually found himself face-to-face with a real bear while he jauntily rides a scooter in his driveway.

The bears moseyed along the driveway, staying cautious but aloof, until Clinton-Dix converged upon them hilariously riding a scooter. As soon as the former Pro-Bowler realized that there were live, dangerous predators just beyond the rear fender of a car, he immediately let his scooter ride on without him as he turned tail and fled the scene as swiftly as he arrived.

Now that Clinton-Dix is a member of the Cowboys, he will no doubt be looking to defeat his former team for multiple reasons – to help his team, of course, but also to exercise the demons of having real bears encroach onto his property.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix played the first four seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers before being traded halfway through the 2018 season to the Washington Redskins.

Last season, Clinton-Dix signed a one-year deal with the Bears, but sadly the deal didn’t extend to the point where jokes could’ve been made about those wild bears simply wanting to diagram plays and practice with Clinton-Dix.

Thankfully, no one was hurt by these bears and the new Cowboys star is safe in the knowledge that his self-preservation instinct is still intact.
