Before, people used Crysis as the benchmark on if their gaming setups belong to the top of the food chain. Years later, it became a meme that has become irrelevant to the current times. However, later this year, Crysis will be making rounds testing gaming setups once again.
Crysis Trilogy Remastered announced for Fall 2021
Crysis Remastered came out last year ahead of the pack. Now, Crytek revealed that the entire Crysis Trilogy will be remastered. The whole trilogy will come out on consoles and on PC this Fall 2021. Players can buy each game individually or as a complete package as a trilogy.
The reveal video showed off gameplay footage, and they look amazing. For sure, the final product will look even better. While Crytek has not revealed the exact specifications of Crysis 2 and 3, we can use the first remastered game from last year as a baseline. With that in mind, we can expect, at minimum, for the trilogy to feature ray-tracing and 8K textures. Both games should also make use of the features available for the new graphics cards announced last month. There should be DLSS support, at the very least.
We'll find out more about the Crysis Trilogy Remastered in the following weeks, that's for sure.
