Chicago Cubs super utility man Ben Zobrist and catcher Willson Contreras will both be back in the lineup for their team's game against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night:

Zobrist just returned to the Cubs this past weekend after taking a leave of absence due to marital issues. He has not played in a game since May 6.

The 38-year-old is in his fourth season with Chicago and has slashed .241/.343/.253 with 10 RBI over 99 plate appearances thus far this year. He originally signed with the Cubs back in December 2015 and experienced immediate success during his first season with the club, slashing .272/.386/.446 with 18 long balls and 76 RBI en route to an All-Star appearance. Most importantly, he played a significant role in Chicago's first World Series title since 1908, even winning World Series MVP.

He also had a terrific 2018 campaign, slashing .305/.378/.440 with nine dingers and 58 RBI across 520 trips to the dish.

Zobrist spent the first nine years of his career with the Tampa Bay Rays, slashing .264/.354/.429 while making a couple of All-Star teams during that span.

He then split the 2015 season between the Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals, helping the Royals win a World Series before arriving in Chicago.

Meanwhile, Contreras has been sidelined since the beginning of August due to a hamstring injury. The All-Star backstop currently owns a slash line of .275/.365/.525 with 19 home runs and 57 RBI through 340 plate appearances thus far this season.

The 27-year-old made his big-league debut in 2016, slashing .282/.357/.488 with 12 homers and 35 RBI over 283 trips to the dish.

He also made an All-Star appearance in 2018, as he slashed .249/.339/.390 with 10 long balls and 54 RBI in what was actually a disappointing season overall for the Venezuelan thanks to a poor second half.
