The USA Men's National Basketball Team are in their final preparations before flying to Brazil in their quest to defend their gold medal in the Rio Olympics.

Helping them prepare is the USA Select squad comprised of up and coming NBA players who provided the senior team with scrimmages and showed speed and athleticism in sets.

One of the better young players is the Phoenix Suns‘ shooting guard Devin Booker, who just got off a very successful rookie season. He showed a lot of promise and tremendous shooting which made his fans excited.

The former Kentucky Wildcat has drawn a lot of praise from members of Team USA, one of them is fellow shooting guard, Klay Thompson. The Suns' official Twitter account posted the interview:

Even a center, DeMarcus Cousins, and coaches led by Tom Thibodeau and Gregg Popovich said they were all impressed with the 19-year-old's game in the full interview posted in the Suns' page on NBA.com.

It is not easy to please the names mentioned but with his combination of skill, work ethic and competitiveness, it is now only a question of how far he can go in his career. The future is looking really bright for Devin Booker.
