The time has finally come once again for players of the world to experience Arc System Works, 8ing, and Neople's newest 2.5D fighting game, DNF Duel, as they have recently announced that a second beta test will be arriving very soon. The announcement was made via a YouTube video over at their official DNF Duel channel.
The trailer shows very quick snippets of gameplay featuring all eleven playable characters including the recently announced Ghost Blade character, who uses katana along with a ghost stand to perform unique chain combos against opponents. At the end of the trailer, the playdates for the 2nd open beta are revealed, and the details are as follows:
- Eastern Standard Time: April 1st, 22:00 (10 PM) – April 4th, 10:00 (10 AM)
- Pacific Standard Time: April 1st, 19:00 (7 PM) – April 4th, 07:00 (7 AM)
- Coordinated Universal Time: April 2nd, 02:00 (2 AM) – April 4th, 14:00 (2 PM)
- Korean / Japanese Standard Time: April 2nd, 11:00 (11 AM) – April 4th, 23:00 (11 PM)
While no further details regarding the second closed beta for DNF Duel have been revealed, many of us can assume that it will be similar to the first open beta, where all characters that have currently been revealed will be fully playable, which will give players eleven to choose from. There will most likely be no training room just like in the first open beta, where the only way to play in a somewhat controlled environment is to play against a low-level bot whenever the test server went offline. Lastly, players will have access to a handful of online custom room options and player profile options to choose from to make themselves stand out from other competitors.
