The Los Angeles Dodgers are visiting the White House in celebration of their World Series victory in 2020. Cody Bellinger, Mookie Betts, and the crew rolled up to the White House as the annual tradition for the champions. In doing so, President Joe Biden gave a bold claim about the Dodgers during their visit.

A bold claim for Biden, but he might not be too far off. The Dodgers are still dangerous even though they lost a couple of contributors. They are in the toughest division in the Majors, with both the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres staying towards the top of the National League West.

Bellinger, Betts, Joe Kelly, and many other were enjoying the trip as they face the Washington Nationals over the weekend.

If Dave Roberts and the Dodgers can continue to find success, they very well could be making a return trip to the White House and could make Joe Biden look like a genius.

At the moment, they are a half-game back of the Giants for first place and are the third team to reach the 50-win mark. The Padres are right behind the Dodgers and the three-team race could make for a thrilling finish if it holds until September.
