Dominick Cruz appeared to turn back time at UFC 269 when he beat Pedro Munhoz by unanimous decision. The bout offered him a chance at some exciting fights in the future.

A few names people have been pitching the former UFC bantamweight champion include Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo. They're both very fun fights but the matchups have been talked about for very different reasons.

“Yea you know I’m not going to say no to a (Jose) Aldo fight just because, you know, that moves me closer to the title. Aldo is a legend in the sport. I have nothing but respect for Aldo,” Cruz said at the UFC 269 post-fight press conference.

“You know it pisses me off that it happened (the early stoppage by Keith Peterson), because Henry Cejudo retired (after). And so I can’t smash his face in with a rematch. But if the little dork decides to come back, I’m right here waiting for him.”

There was a lot of talk between Dominick Cruz and Henry Cejudo at UFC 249. Cruz was very upset with referee Keith Peterson and his decision to stop the fight for a TKO finish.

Henry Cejudo is retired though and it appears a fight between the two won't be happening at all unless something big were to happen. The former two-division champion still enjoys messing with his former foe.

Jose Aldo would be a fun fight between two former champions and would be a sort of legacy fight. The winner would certainly be next in line for a title shot.
