Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap got into a heated exchange after the Los Angeles Lakers center gave a cheap shot to the Denver Nuggets forward. This came following a made shot from Michael Porter Jr.

Howard threw his shoulder into Millsap while fighting for position and this sent the 35-year old to the ground. Millsap obviously did not appreciate the hit and immediately let Howard know about it.

Ouch. That has to hurt. The two big men needed to be separated, but fortunately, nothing really physical transpired between the two.

Howard is obviously one of the most physical big men in the game. His energy and hustle have been big for the Lakers in this series. Unfortunately, it seems like he got a little too aggressive on the box out on that play.

The referees issued a flagrant foul on Howard for the elbow.
