Atlanta Hawks new acquisition Dwight Howard has been released from the hospital, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Howard was in China, promoting his DH2 sneaker by Peak and became ill on the plane back to Atlanta on Sunday. He was getting treatment for dehydration and stayed overnight.
The Hawks have not provided a statement, but it's a good sign knowing he's already out of the hospital.
The Atlanta native will be an asset to the team with the departure of Al Horford and while he doesn't possess his offensive dexterity, he surely is an upgrade on the defensive end.
