The Miami Heat will be playing the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. It will be Dwyane Wade‘s first time playing in Miami since his departure. Dwyane gave so much to Miami in his 13 seasons there, bringing in an era of winning along with three championships.

Wade had this say, courtesy of ESPN.com:

“If you're not in this business, it's hard to understand, but I don't even want them to understand — I want them to appreciate what we accomplished together. I want them to cheer for their team that they have, support those players over there that's giving their all. Support the future of the organization and be thankful that we all was able to experience an unbelievable ride together. That's all you can do.”

Wade's move to Chicago was a surprise to many. Some people say he did it to spite Pat Riley for not going after him hard enough in free agency. He definitely made a smart move, as the Heat are full-rebuilding mode now. Wade doesn't have much time left in his career to be part of a rebuild.

D-Wade had this to say when asked how he thought he would be received by Miami fans:

“You never know.  You never know how you're going to be received. But I did everything possibly right in my time there. So hopefully I'm received [for] what I've given to the franchise, organization. But at the same time you never know. You might hear a boo or something at some point. Everybody don't like you. You got to understand that. But I think overall it will be positive.”

It will be an exciting matchup this Thursday night, but it will be even more interesting to see how Wade is received by the fans.
