Recently, 12 time NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade made it clear that he was done with the Miami Heat organization. After 13 years and 3 NBA titles, Wade felt as though it was finally time to make his departure after feeling unwanted and under appreciated in South Beach. He has informed his fans and followers that he will be signing with the Chicago Bulls on a 2-year, $47.5 million deal, but it seems the 2003 first round pick has some regret as to how the situation had to unfold.

Clearly, DWade and Pat Riley had an irreplaceable relationship. For the past 13 years, Riley has had the opportunity to help Wade grow as an athlete in the NBA world. In return, Wade has lead the Heat team time and time again, giving Riley the opportunity to build such a powerful brand among others in the NBA. From leading the Heat to beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 finals to successfully recruiting the likes of LeBron James and Chris Bosh to make four more straight finals appearances, Wade clearly means a lot to Riley.

As unfortunate as it is to see such a valuable bond break, at lease DWade has a little sense of humor to help alleviate the situation.

Wade may have been born and raised in Chicago, but living in Miami for more than a decade will certainly give Wade an adjustment period to work with.
