Regardless of affiliation, the results of the elections on Tuesday came as a shock to many as the pre-voting polls did not go as projected with Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump coming out with the win.

Athletes, including NBA players, took to social media to share their thoughts about the results. One of them is Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade, who has been known to speak out publicly about social issues throughout his NBA career.

It can be recalled that Wade and his good buddy, LeBron James, recently showed their support for Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton during a rally, which makes his tweet not surprising at all as he showed his disbelief with the result.

And after the concession speech, Wade followed it up with an Instagram post showing the time he and James got to interact with U.S. President Barrack Obama during their visit to the White House after winning the NBA Championship in 2012 and letting everyone know who has his loyalty.

There have been a lot of NBA players who expressed their opinions about the elections on social media, with others making even bolder statements than Wade. It will be very interesting to see who else will make their thoughts known and what the reactions would be once Trump assumes the post of U.S. President.
