The Philadelphia Eagles are riding high after another emphatic win, a 37-34 overtime triumph over the Buffalo Bills. The Eagles improved to 10-1 with the victory, setting up a showdown between the NFC's best next Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Apparently, the continued success for Philadelphia has prompted one of its injured players to make an improbable push to suit up this week. Tight end Dallas Goedert, who fractured his forearm in Week 9, will try to play on Sunday. If not, there is a very realistic chance he will play in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys, according to James Palmer.

Goedert missed each of the last two games but with his injury coming right before the bye week the Eagles elected not to put him on injured reserve which would have forced him to miss four games. He has a chance to miss only two and could practice this week for the first time since the injury.

Goedert missed five games last season but still managed to have a 700-yard season in 12 games, including three scores. After staying quiet through the first four weeks of the 2023 season, Goedert was more involved in the Eagles' offense. Over the next five games, Goedert had 25 receptions for 322 yards (64.4 yards per game) and two touchdowns.

When the Eagles offense is clicking on all cylinders, it's hard to stop. Jalen Hurts can beat you with his arm and legs, as he showed on Sunday against the Bills with five total touchdowns. With weapons like AJ Brown and Devonta Smith to throw to, among others, Philadelphia is loaded with talent on offense.

Getting Dallas Goedert back in that mix before the playoffs would be massive for the Eagles' chances of securing the best record in the league. Philly will get a better sense of his changes to play later this week in practice.
