The Philadelphia Eagles were considered by most analysts to have improved as much as any NFL team following the 2022 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, the division rival Dallas Cowboys were criticized for some of their picks, and on paper look much worse than they were in 2021.

That has left a lot of pundits calling the Eagles as the favorites to win the NFC East this season. I'm sure that gives a nice boost of confidence among Eagles players. Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick certainly is feeling bold these days, deciding to throw some shade at the Cowboys.

“If you are a family member/friend of mine and you are a Cowgirls fan, do not ask me for tickets! (rolling on the floor emoji).”

Shockingly, no team has won the NFC East two consecutive years since the Eagles did it back in 2003 and 2004. That's the longest stretch for any division in NFL history.

Philadelphia traded for Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown during the draft. They also added All-SEC defensive tackle Jordan Davis out of Georgia with the 13th overall pick. They strengthened the offensive line, drafting Nebraska center Cameron Jergens and then might have got the steal of the entire draft when they landed LB Nakobe Dean.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys lost Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper and defensive end Randy Gregory during the offseason. They did not do much to replace that level of talent.

The Eagles and Cowboys rivalry goes back a long way and these comments certainly will only add fuel to the fire.
