Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills believes the team will return to the Super Bowl next season, and win it.

“I think we finna go win the Super Bowl, man. It’s time again. It’s time,” Mills told Fanatics View at the Errol Spence-Mikey Garcia fight last weekend.

Mills, 24, appeared in just eight games in 2018, as he dealt with a foot injury that kept him sidelined for half of the regular season including the playoffs.

He was just one member of the defense who missed a large portion of the season.

The Eagles were also without Ronald Darby, Rodney McLeod, Derek Barnett, Timmy Jernigan, and Chris Maragos – all of which played an integral part in the aggregate that defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has pieced together the last couple of years.

But the team is looking to return to form next season having its best players healthy. Mills expressed his confidence in the recent offseason refurbishments to the roster.

“Just got a big pickup in DeSean Jackson, for the offense. We’ve got a big, big defensive tackle in Malik [Jackson.] We healthy, we going to do it again. […] [Carson] Wentz is looking good. He’s back healthy, moving around good, Wentz is going to air that ball up. He’s the leader of our team and everybody know that it’s time to win.”

It's safe to say that Mills, along with the fellow members of his defensive unit, will relish the opportunity to win Philadelphia's second ring in three years.
