After making the playoffs when nobody gave them a chance, the Philadelphia Eagles were unable to upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Wildcard Weekend. It was a brutal loss and head coach Nick Sirianni opened up during his postgame interviews.

According to Josh Tolentino, Nick Sirianni reveals the pain that comes with a playoff loss. They aimed to make some noise against the Buccaneers but ultimately failed. Regardless, the Eagles head coach is proud of his team's efforts this year.

It was a putrid performance for the Eagles, to say the least. The Buccaneers stifled the run game, forcing Jalen Hurts to throw the ball often. Philadelphia was forced to play the type of game they're not built for, which led to a brutalizing loss to Tampa Bay.

Although the Eagles got moliwhopped by the Buccaneers, this season has to be considered a success. Nobody gave this team a chance throughout the year and yet, they found a way into the postseason. Philadelphia has an incredibly young roster, which makes for a bright future for this franchise.

Losing in the playoffs will always sting, but the fan base should feel confident moving forward. With three first round picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, the Eagles are likely to make a huge splash in upgrading their roster. Jalen Hurts will have another offseason to develop, which could be the difference-maker for this franchise.

We'll see how the offseason plays out, as the Eagles have plenty of options to restructure the roster. With that said, Philadelphia fans shouldn't beat themselves up too badly after losing to the Buccaneers in th 2022 NFL playoffs.
