The Philadelphia Eagles continued to get better over the course of the last several seasons before last season's modest regression. Despite winning the Super Bowl just two seasons ago, the Eagles have continued to add veteran impact players on both sides of the football, with linebacker Zach Brown becoming one of the latest talents to make his way to Philadelphia.

To say that Brown, a former member of the rival Washington Redskins, is excited to join the Eagles might be an understatement…

The 29-year-old linebacker is currently gearing up for his first season as a member of the Eagles. Zach Brown was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of North Carolina. After spending his first three seasons as a member of the Titans, Brown then made his way to the Buffalo Bills for the 2016 campaign before heading to our nation's capital, spending another two go-rounds with the aforementioned Redskins.

Missing only three games since joining the NFL in 2012 — all three of those outings coming in 2017 while with the Redskins — Brown has been durable. Appearing in a total of 93 career regular-season games thus far in his NFL tenure, Brown has compiled 633 total tackles, 17.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, seven interceptions and 20 pass defenses.

Last season, in what would ultimately become his last in Washington, Brown appeared in all 16 regular-season games for the Redskins and recorded 96 total tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, and one pass defense.
