Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and tight end Zach Ertz were able to connect for a clutch touchdown to take the New York Giants to overtime. It was only right that they provided the finishing touches on a win.

Wentz capped an eight-play, 75-yard drive by finding Ertz once again to secure the victory over the New York Giants in overtime. Watch the game-winning touchdown below.

Although the offense certainly endured their fair share of struggles against the Giants on prime time, Wentz still managed to finish with a solid stat line after completing 33-of-50 passes for 325 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Ertz continues to maintain his status as one of the best tight ends in the NFL with nine receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

While it was hardly a pretty win, Philadelphia can take solace in the fact that they managed to close the gap between them and the Dallas Cowboys for NFC East supremacy. They will need to keep the momentum they garnered down the final stretch going over the final three games if they hope to secure a playoff spot.
