After taking a break after his son's death, Dana Carvey returns to his and David Spade's podcast.

The actor's son, Dex, passed away last November. Now, the comedian thinks it will be “really cool to laugh” as he's still reeling from the difficult loss, The Hollywood Reporter states.

Dana Carvey is back on the podcast with David Spade

On The Fly on the Wall podcast, Carvey reveals why he's back to talking again with friend and fellow comedian Spade.

“I thought about this over the holidays and decided to come back to the podcast because I think it's a long day when you're not working, and you get in your head,” the Wayne's World star said.

He added about returning that “it's going to be a great break, and I think it's really cool to laugh.”

Spade responded by saying, “We laugh a lot together when we're together. I like leaving you messages and trying to make you laugh because just, things in life happen, but we can move on.”

As for moving on, it sounds like the podcast is very helpful for Carvey. He said, “Doing this and rifling with you is going to be very healthy for me as I recover, because I'm kind of on the pain train with millions of other people on this planet. And you don't know how long you're going to be on it or when it will stop or when it will get better. But in the meantime, all this kind of stuff is very healthy.”

It's great to have Dana Carvey back on the air. Hopefully, the podcast is very healing for him as he moves on from Dex's untimely death.
