International rap and pop superstar Nicki Minaj just officially announced a sequel to her hit 2010 debut album, Pink Friday, called… wait for it… Pink Friday 2! It will be released later this year on November 17. It's been five years since the release of Minaj's last album, Queen, and she excitedly took to Twitter to share the major news.
“Dear Barbz,” Minaj began her message. “I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit.”

After this bit of intrigue, she continued “Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT…but since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I’d like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don’t have to get cussed out 🙁 so…here it goes: 🎀MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23.”

Finally, Minaj gave a shoutout to her loyal legion of fans known as her “Barbz”. She said, “🥹 I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album.”
Minaj has been busy lately between the new album announcement and teaming up with Ice Spice on a collaboration for the Barbie movie soundtrack called “Barbie World.” It seems everything is coming up pink for Nicki Minaj right now.
