Paramount Pictures just released a hilarious audition tape for the new IF movie.
The clip's premise is how everyone was trying to get into the new movie. Director John Krasinski and Cailey Fleming are the ones auditioning, and some familiar characters come for their shot at starring in the film. Though the film had already been cast, they felt sorry for them and wanted to make them feel better, so they let them have their moments in the limelight.
How does it all go down? Fleming asks what they're doing today as the two sit at a small table. “We are holding auditions for IFs,” Krasinski responds.
“We already shot the movie,” Fleming replies.
“That is true,” the director states. “But because people are so excited for it, there were a…uhh..There were a few people that were kinda bummed they didn't get an auction, so.”
From there, one by one, a series of auditions begin.
Auditioners for IF
First on the list was SpongeBob. He arrives, waving and all smiles.
“Do you do any other shapes besides square?” John asks him.
SquarePants starts wiggling around his arms and trying to make more shapes. And it's not exactly what they were looking for.
Next up was Optimus Prime, who transformed from a truck into a giant robot.
“Now YOU…are definitely more than meets the eye,” The Office star said. “Sorry, Dad jokes.”
Then we have Paw Patrol characters. They're all decked out in their outfits, ready for action.
“They're so cute,” says Fleming. “How do you propose to work this into your busy schedule, what with all the saving the day and what not?” Krasinski asks them.
They all reply with howls, indicating that “they will be there on the double.”
Tiny Chef then arrives for his big moment. “Oh, boy. I was nervous,” he said, offering the director and actress a delicious pizza he cooked.
Finally, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles come racing in for their shot.
“Sorry fellas. We're only looking for individual acts,” the director says.
From there, the turtles start to charge at them, seemingly upset. “Take the pizza,” John says. It's unknown if they escape it or if the ninjas get the pizza- which they're known to crave.
