Director James Wan recently spoke about a potential Aquaman 3 and rumors of trouble on the set.
The director of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom recently addressed supposed problems behind the scenes and about continuing the popular series starring Jason Momoa, according to CBR.
Along with dismissing rumors of issues on set, when talking of a third movie, he seems like he's up for doing so.

“I haven't directed a third movie [in a series] before, so I'd be open to doing another [Aquaman] if I got the same freedom I've had on these first two,” Wan said.

"I’m not sure what direction [Gunn and Safran] are going in, though, so who knows? I’ve learned to never say never."

Article Continues BelowWhen it comes to the rumors of unpleasant behavior and more on the Aquaman 2 set, the director said, “I've had to learn to be more Zen in dealing with all the noise around me, for sure.” He added, “I'm a pretty private person. I don't get on social media and have fights, but it's difficult because this narrative has emerged that's not reality.”
Squashing the rumors, he and the studios focus more on the film's success.
The original Aquaman was a hit and is still the highest-grossing film that's centered around a DC superhero. There's little doubt that Lost Kingdom will do well this holiday season when it debuts. However, Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios are a bit skittish, considering how badly The Flash bombed.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be making a splash in theaters on Dec. 20.
