Brad Pitt and George Clooney reunite in a teaser trailer for Jon Watts' (Spider-Man: No Way Home) latest film, Wolfs. The two previously starred in the Ocean's Eleven franchise together.
The teaser trailer begins with Pitt and Clooney in a car. There is clear tension as Pitt attempts to open the glove box only to be stopped by Clooney.
No music or dialogue is heard throughout the teaser, adding to the awkwardness. The windshield wipers and hints of other cars on the road are all that is heard throughout.
What is Wolfs about?
In the description of the Wolfs teaser trailer on YouTube, a brief synopsis is shared by Sony.
The official synopsis reads: “Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two ‘lone wolves' are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.”
Aside from Pitt and Clooney, Amy Ryan (Sugar), Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan also star in the film.
Jon Watts wrote and directed the film. He will also produce alongside Pitt, Clooney, Grant Heslov, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Dianne McGunigle. Michael Beugg will executive produce the film.
When is it coming out?
Apple is one of the production companies that produced Wolfs alongside Plan B Entertainment and Smokehouse Pictures. Columbia Pictures, a subsidiary of Sony, will distribute the film. As Apple and Sony did with Ridley Scott's Napoleon, Wolfs is getting a theatrical release before going to Apple TV+.
