Red Bull boss Christian Horner makes a crucial Max Verstappen claim amid an intense F1 title race.

With just two races to go, Verstappen is hunting for his first title but has to go through Lewis Hamilton to bag the crown, which can be viewed as a daunting task. Hamilton is a seven-time world champion, allowing him to have experience by his side. On the other hand, Verstappen is much younger, leading to many questions on whether or not he can deliver this late into the season.

Meanwhile, Horner believes that his young star has what it takes, stressing the existence of Verstappen's maturity to win it all.

“Make no mistake, fighting for your first F1 title is an intense moment in your racing career, but the maturity Max has shown throughout the campaign has been extremely impressive,” Horner said in his column for the Red Bull official website.

“He’s relaxed and dealing with the pressure incredibly well, I think he is driving better than ever.”

“Max is plain-speaking and he calls it how he sees it. He doesn’t work with a sports psychologist, it is just how he copes with it.”

Many athletes across the world constantly struggle to cope with the mounting pressure. But with Verstappen, the dutchman proves otherwise, looking composed enough to lead the F1 standings in points so far. Still, with just two races to go, can he keep his composure?
