The Atlanta Falcons are set to take on the Buffalo Bills in what will be a tough matchup. Both teams respect each other, but with their season on the line, Atlanta needs a big win on Sunday. However, they should have a little confidence in their game, as Stefon Diggs praises Cordarrelle Patterson with the ultimate compliment. Comparing him to future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson.

According to Jon Scott, Diggs told reporters on Wednesday that Patterson is a “Generational talent,” and even went as far as to compare him to Adrian Peterson. The Falcons' have relied on Patterson's production throughout the year, as he's been their most reliable player this season.

What he means to the Falcons cannot be ignored. He's been a unique hybrid-type of player who serves as a running back and wide receiver simultaneously. It's been wild to watch, as Atlanta continuously feeds him the ball in every game.

Although, Patterson is 30-years old and it took him until year nine of his career to become a vital option for a team. The comparison to Adrian Peterson makes sense, as it's rare to see someone excel in a hybrid role like this, especially for the Falcons. However, Peterson was an amazing athlete from the beginning of his career.

Regardless, the Falcons have kept within reach of the playoffs this year and most of the credit can go to Cordarrelle Patterson. We'll see if Atlanta can upset the Bills in Week 17, as a win keeps them in the playoff hunt. We should see Stefon Diggs and Cordarrelle Patterson put on a show on Sunday.
