Heading into Week 13 of the NFL season, injuries have plagued a lot of backfields. That has led to many different opportunities for fantasy football managers to take advantage. The Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams might be exactly where one needs to look heading into waiver night.

Lions starting running back D'Andre Swift injured his shoulder and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. That opens the door for Jamaal Williams.

Williams was expected to have a larger role this season when the Lions acquired him, but the breakout of Swift kept him on the bench. With Swift looking like he will miss Sunday's game vs the Vikings, Williams is someone almost all fantasy football managers should put a claim in for.

He is a good between the tackles runner, but has equally good hands. He showed that in Green Bay the past couple seasons. The expected volume and matchup vs a porous Vikings run defense puts him firmly on the FLEX radar, with RB2 upside.

Another running back to take a look at is Philadelphia Eagles' Boston Scott. For one, the Eagles play the Jets. You could probably start two running backs vs the Jets and get production. But also, starting tailback Miles Sanders left Sunday's game with ankle/foot injuries that limited him.

It is unknown whether he will be able to play. Scott, when given opportunity this season, has run with it. He's worth an add.

Finally, Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. is dealing with a quad strain he sustained in the loss to the Packers last week.

Were he to miss this week's game, Sony Michel would be a must add. The Rams look to get their offense back on track against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Henderson has often been injured during his career.

Sony Michel would undoubtedly get the majority of the work were Henderson to miss time. In limited playing time this season, Michel has run hard and looked pretty good. He does not have the pass catching ability Henderson has, but he has a nose for the goal line. That's a place I expect the Rams to be a lot on Sunday.
