It has been quite the week for Antonio Brown and the Oakland Raiders. At one moment, it seemed to be an inevitability that Brown wouldn't be with the team when they took the field against the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

Well surprise, fantasy football players who possess Brown “shares” are rejoicing as the All-Pro receiver will now make his Raiders debut in Week 1. Following Thursday's news of the possible suspension, people had a full-blown fire sale with Brown and traded him for cheap. And understandably so.

On Thursday morning, the veteran receiver was facing a suspension from the team for getting into an altercation with general manager Mike Mayock. The altercation didn't become physical, but tempers definitely flared.

Over the past 24 hours, the veteran receiver has since apologized to the team and returned to practice. Jon Gruden also made it official that the Raiders plan to deploy Brown in the offense on Monday Night Football.

There should still be some skepticism for Brown this season but he is a must-start this week. What does Brown's fantasy football outlook for Week 1 look like?

When Oakland acquired Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers in March, they knew they were getting a player who brings a ton of baggage with him. They also knew they were getting one of the most gifted pass-catchers that the NFL has ever seen.

In the last six seasons with the Steelers, Brown has managed to boast historic numbers that have never been seen before. The 31-year-old wide receiver has averaged 114 receptions, 1,524 yards, and 11 touchdowns over those six seasons.

However, Brown was able to accumulate those numbers with Ben Roethlisberger as his quarterback. Now, Brown will be catching passes from Derek Carr. With all due respect to Carr, he isn't Roethlisberger in any sense.

As a result, many people believe that Brown is due for a major drop-off in his production this season. There may be a slight decrease in his production—but don't expect him to just fall off of the face of the Earth.

During his time in Pittsburgh, the shifty wideout was heavily targeted in the offense, averaging 171 targets per season over the past six years. It's tough to believe that he'll reach that number this season, but he will undoubtedly be the go-to option through the air for Gruden and the Raiders.

Throughout the offseason, Gruden's face has lit up when he has spoken about the potential of Brown in their passing offense. Hence, fans should expect a healthy dose of targets for the newly acquired receiver against the Broncos.

On Monday night, it is expected that slot-cornerback extraordinaire Chris Harris Jr. will be shadowing Brown. That may put a damper on things, but that shouldn't completely ruin his night.

Last year when Brown and Harris Jr. squared off, Brown was held to nine receptions for 67 yards. On the other hand, just a few seasons ago, Brown had a fantasy-filled game with 16 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns against the Broncos.

The two will take the field across from one another again with Brown playing extra-motivated with all of the drama this week. The Raiders will also be eager to get Brown going immediately to drown out the outside noise.

Overall, expect the gifted receiver to have a signature “Antonio Brown” game and put up a stat-line comparable to eight receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown. The business will be boomin' for the Raiders wide receiver in Week 1.
