Fnatic's new roster for the DPC 2021-2022 season has finally been unveiled. After weeks of hot anticipation, the new Fnatic squad has finally been revealed by the organization.
Through a tweet, Fnatic's new roster for Dota 2 was revealed to be:
- Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto
- Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios
- Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
- Djardel “DJ” Mamsputi
- Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla
The new lineup welcomes two new Filipino pros to the team: Armel, formerly of TNC Predator, and Jaunuel, formerly of OB Esports x NEON. Because of the addition of the two new players, Jabz has moved from the 4 position to the offlane, the position that he is most comfortable with. DJ also returned to the playmaking position 4 that he's well-known for.
Armel represents a heavyweight addition to the team, but his comparatively shallow hero pool will have to expand now that he's with a team with a more diversified playstyle. As for Jaunuel, it will be his first time competing with a multinational team. Whether or not these players will glue together will be revealed in this upcoming DPC season. The trial by fire won't be long, as the DPC Season's regular matches will start this December. Will Fnatic continue its role as the gatekeepers of SEA this year?
