The Cleveland Browns shocked the NFL world when they traded for quarterback Deshaun Watson last month. It wasn't the fact that the Browns traded for the embattled quarterback. But he is still dealing with 22 lawsuits involving alleged sexual misconduct. That did not stop one former Browns quarterback to make maybe the boldest claim in the history of football.

DeShone Kizer posted took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

Unfortunately TB12’s rings ruin all football GOAT discussions, but if there was ever anyone who could create a compelling argument against him it’s DW after he wins a Super Bowl w/ the Browns. Dont @ me.”

It was probably wise for Kizer to ask at the end of his tweet for people to not reply to his tweet. Watson is incredibly talented, there is no doubt of that. Let's say for instance, he wasn't suspended for sexual misconduct by the league, and he led the Browns to a Super Bowl title, putting him in Tom Brady's class at that point is still laughable.

Brady's resume is far more than just rings. The guy has been to more conference championships than most Hall of Fame quarterbacks play years (14). He owns almost every record possible. His winning percentage laps the entire field historically. Then to cap it off, yes, his seven Super Bowl rings is more than any NFL franchise.

Brady has entered a stratosphere of his own in football lure. He is now among the all-time greats in history of sport, including Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Babe Ruth.

So for someone to suggest that Watson could surpass him in anyone's mind after winning a single Super Bowl is almost a thought of lunacy. But it is especially crazy coming from someone who played in the NFL. If it was just some random Browns fan, I could almost get it. No, wait, who am I kidding. I could not. But especially not from a quarterback who attended Notre Dame. Don't you need to be sharp to attend school there?

This sentiment is not thought of by anyone on the globe except DeShone Kizer. But I guess, maybe he doesn't know the game that well. After all, he did finish his career 0-15. Yeah, he lost every game he ever started in the NFL.
