Mercedes boss Toto Wolff shares the Formula 1 team's weakness in the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix.
Fans are eager to see Max Verstappen after a remarkable practice session, and hometown hero Sergio Perez, expecting the Red Bull stars to finish well in the race.
Wolff recognizes that Mexico isn't really Mercedes' sweet spot despite the team's dominance in the last decade.

“This was never such a happy place for us in terms of car performance,” said Wolff, “although we love Mexico because we feel so welcome.”
“We don’t seem to find the sweet spot so we are chasing various directions today,” he said. “On a positive note, our engine is performing well. That was a little bit of a gap in the years before, that’s fine.
The Austrian also stresses that Verstappen has been doing a tremendous job in his recent races— gunning for his first F0rmula 1 title
“So I think for us, it’s about doing the best possible job, and maybe that is difficult with Max’s performance, simply said.”
“In our dominant year in 2019, where we crushed everybody, we lost qualifying here by half a second, if I’m correct,” he said. “So it’s probably the weakest of all our tracks, with Monaco.”
For now, Mercedes aims to do their best in the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton trails Verstappen by only 12 points in the driver's championship. Meanwhile, the team is holding on to a 23-point lead in the constructor standings.
Sit tight, Formula 1 fans, this will be a nail-biting finish to end the season.
