Dataminer HYPEX discovered a female version of the popular Midas skin in Fortnite’s game files. While she is not out yet, we’re soon going to be able to snag her up for a couple of VBucks.

All the way back to Season 2 of Fortnite, we received a gold-plated character named Midas, which was a very popular skin. Players bought Battle Passes just to get the Midas skin, and now it seems like we’re going to get a female version of the skin. Called ‘Marigold’, Fortnite leaks suggest that a female version of Midas will be coming very soon to Fortnite. However, unlike Midas, you won’t have to purchase a battle pass to get her.

Dataminers checked the game files for the recent update version 15.50 and found traces of Marigold in the files. The update introduced large islands in creative mode, which are 25% larger than your typical island. More support is being given to creative players, with a creative hub localization support introduced in this patch. Epic Games also fixed some bugs while they’re introducing these new features, so be sure to check out the latest changes.

Marigold will be coming to Fortnite at the tail end of Season 5. While Epic Games is preparing for Season 6, they need to roll out content to keep the game from getting stale. Fortnite leaks suggest that Epic Games will be releasing Marigold during this time period, so expect her arrival within the next few updates.

Season 6 might arrive during the week of March 15 to March 20, basing on the battle pass timer in-game. Unless there would be any major setbacks within Epic Games, we can expect Season 6 to arrive just on time. Fortnite leaks suggest that the giant orb-like portal known as “Zero Point” in the middle of the map might be the focal point of the upcoming season.
