Looking for something new to play this weekend? Well, you're in luck! The Epic Games Store is releasing two free games this week and they are awesome as heck. With that said, let's check out what's free on Epic Games this week.

Free on Epic Games this week September 2 – September 8

The Epic Games Store will release two free games this week. Well, technically, the other one has already been released but it's still free and up for grabs until tomorrow September 3. That game is none other than:

Automachef (free on Epic Games until Sept. 3)

Automachef is an indie puzzle game in which you will have to build automatic kitchens for a robotic fast-food tycoon who believes he's a human. The awesome game was released in July of 2019 and it had some fairly great reviews.

Play! Zine had this to say about the game:

“Automachef is a really fine and simple automatics system puzzler game. Even with its abundance of options and menus, which can be its good and bad thing. It is still a fine game with its price tag and offers hours of problem-solving missions.”
Yoku's Island Express (available on Epic Games Sept. 3-10)
Yoku's Island Express is a platforming pinball adventure video game developed by Swedish studio Villa Gorilla and published by Team17. The studio's debut project, the game was released in 2018 for Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Darkstation had this to say about the game:
“Yoku's Island Express is out on basically everything, and wherever you can grab it, I heavily recommend it. The game is just an absolute treat from top to bottom, perfect even for people who aren't particularly interested in pinball. It puts these two genres together extremely well, making them both feel fresh and fun in a way I haven't seen in a good bit. The kind of imagination and design on display is always great to see, and you'll find yourself wishing for more as soon as the credits roll.”
So there you go, two very awesome games that are free on Epic Games this week.
