Doublelift thinks that Path of Exile‘s most recent expansion, the Expedition League, is the worst league for the game so far.
Path of Exile is one of the most popular and enduring online multiplayer games out there. Those who have become bored of Diablo 3 moved to Path of Exile. Torchlight fans who lost interest have also moved on to PoE. The game has become a haven for a lot of people who love isometric action RPGs. Grinding Gear Games, the developers, continuously innovate and keep the experience fresh. This makes players come back to the game over and over again, even when they end up taking a long break every now and then.
However, the most recent League through the Expedition Expansion hasn't been fun for many players. First released on July 23, 2021, the League introduced four NPC characters from the Kalguuran expedition. The expedition is seen by many players as the least impactful, and to some, the most boring. “Gameplay just feels so much worse now that it's just not fun,” says one player. League of Legends pro Doublelift also weighed in on a tweet, saying: “I love Path of Exile but holy sh*t this league is bad. If they don't revert the changes and make huge improvements to QoL/crafting next league, the game is gonna die.”

Doublelift even joked that the Path of Exile community has been negative so badly right now, it's even worse than the League of Legends subreddit. That says something. But here's also hoping to see Grinding Gears turn things around when the next expansion arrives.
