The event Perilous Trail has now begun! This is possibly the biggest event of Genshin Impact 2.7, so read on to know more about it.

The Traveler and Paimon come once again to The Chasm to investigate the mysteries of the depths, only to meet an unexpected guest and become embroiled in another crisis…

Event Rules

  • In the “Realms of Guile and War,” players may challenge 4 different Domains, of which the 4th will only unlock once the previous 3 have been completed.
  • In each of the first 3 Domains, completing 3 challenges will count as 1 combat round completion. Each Domain will have 3 combat rounds. After each round is completed, you must re-arrange your party and Stratagem buffs according to the Domain's rules.
  • In the 4th Domain, Travelers can initiate a total of 6 rounds.
  • Each Domain will have 3 challenge difficulties. Completing higher difficulties will not only allow you to collect the corresponding rewards, but similar rewards at lower difficulties as well.
  • You will be granted Moonlit Cragstones for completing challenges, which can then be used in the Event Shop to exchange for rich rewards.

Event Rewards

This event will reward the 4 star Fading Twilight (Bow).

Players can also obtain:

  • Crown of Insight
  • Primogems
  • Mora
  • Weapon Ascension Materials
  • Moonlit Cragstone

The Moonlit Cragstones can be exchenged in the Event Shop for the following rewards:

  • Glowing Gem (Fading Twilight Refinement Material)
  • Crown of Insight
  • Weapon Ascension Materials
  • Talent Level-Up Materials
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore
  • Hero's Wit
  • Mora

Aside from these rewards, new missions have also been added to the Battle Pass, Gorge Sunset.

Gameplay Summary

  • During the event, you need to go to The Chasm, invesitgate the mysteries of the depths and complete various challenges in the event.
    Interact with a mysterious wooden board in a specific place to visit the Realms of Guile and War and take part in the combat challenge.

Challenge Rules

  • You will obtain a certain number of Stratagem Shards when you complete each challenge. Use them to adjust your party setup.
  • Interact with a mysterious wooden board in a specific place to visit the Realms of Guile and War and take part in the combat challenge.
  • You must continuously defeat opponents within the Realms of Guile and War. Complete 3 challenges to finish 1 combat round. When each combat round ends, your progress will automatically be saved. If you fail or leave mid-battle, you will start from the last battle you were at by default.

Stratagems

  • You can equip a maximum of 3 Stratagems per combat round that will provide buffs in battle.
  • When each combat round ends, 5 Stratagems will be drawn out at random to be used in the next round. You may consume Stratagem Shards to redraw Stratagems or to select a previously equipped Stratagem for continued use.
  • Click the button next to the minimap to check the details of the current Realm of Guile and War and Stratagems.
    • Mobile Device: Click the Special Environment button on the top-left corner.
    • PC: Press the U key.
    • PlayStation: L1 + Down arrow

Realm I

  • When each combat round ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. Only one member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode.

Realm II

  • When each combat rounds ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. 2 random members of the current party will be rendered unable to proceed, while everyone else will continue on.

Realm III

  • When each combat rounds ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. None of the current characters can proceed to the next battle.

Realm IV

  • When each combat rounds ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. Only one member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode for 2 rounds, within which they cannot be deployed into battle.
